A Team of the First German TV Went Along the Bridge at Vidin, 02.04.2012

For a third time the team of the German TV shot reportage for the construction of Danube Bridge Vidin-Calafat. After two broadcasts of “Deutsche Welle” at the beginning of 2011 and 2012, the German ARD TV visited the construction site of the Project. The reportage will be included in the weekly program “Europamagazin” and will be broadcast within ten days.

The reporter Thomas Wedmann, the cameraman Romain Wirtz and the sound-producer Sean Hackstein shot the reportage for the longest bridge over the Danube with the construction of which they were acquainted by the Deputy Project Manager Julio Ruiz. With great satisfaction the team shot the 43-meter pylons at pier PB9 and the inside of the bridge superstructure.

The reason for the visit of ARD TV in our country is the North-west of Bulgaria where “at the time of a financial crisis, real things happen” and where “there is hope” for a future economic development of the region.

The Project “Danube Bridge Vidin-Calafat” is the greatest Employer, compared to all the rest in the region.
