Students from the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy – Sofia were among the first visitors of the 999th consecutive exhibition of the Vidin photographer Bogomil Petrov, exposed at Danube Bridge Vidin-Calafat.
The photographer is the first Bulgarian, with world record in weightlifting in 1964. Enthusiastic photographer, hiker and caver, Bogomil Petrov, realized his goal to put a record for the Guinness Book with the exposure of 1000 photo exhibitions, mostly outdoors.
This is just another visit of students at the construction site of the longest Danube Bridge. The future architects and engineers watched with great interest the constructed expansion joints along the railway track of the bridge, the bridge piers, the bearings and the superstructure, the cable stays of the bridge and the fortifying of the Romanian bank with rock material.
