The first tourists arrived in Vidin
200 them Canadians, Americans and Britons with particular interest reviewed historical landmarks in the Vidin, after they saw the amazing Belogradchik rocks.
Seven months a year the town is a tourist site of passengers from the ships arriving from Western Europe with tourists from all over the world. Particularly attractive to them are, as well as mediaeval castle Baba Vida, and the only in the world mosque with the heart of the minaret, instead of Turkish crescent. In the town can be seen and second largest in Bulgaria Synagogue and Orthodox church "St. Dimitrij".
A rich and lively centuries-long history, viney with modern present, attracts people, arrived by ship on the Danube or with a car on the new Danube bridge Vidin-Calafat.
