New car GAS with turbo engine Mercedes
In Slovakia, they created a “combat” vehicle based on the Soviet GAZ-69, actualnews.org reports. The car is designed for off-road racing. Manufacturers have made a variant of the GAZ-69 with sports equipment based on the space frame. Convenient to operate and maximized and equipped with a variety of options, the two-seater pickup has high-pass tires, impressive ground clearance and more. In the cabin there are sports seats, and in the body – a place for a spare tire and fire extinguisher. Under the hood of the “fighting vehicle” is a 2.9-liter Mercedes OM602.982 turbo engine. The unit is capable of supplying 120-129 horsepower.
The original version of the GAZ-69 was produced in automobile factories in Ulyanovsk and Gorky in the distant 1953. In the 20 years of its existence, the two plants have produced about 635 copies.
