Cave with stalactites pink

One of the most beautiful and colorful caves in Bulgaria – “Venetsa”(Crown), was opened to visitors five years ago. It is located in Oreshets, Vidin region. The opening ceremony was attended by Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Bulgaria Nikolina Angelkova.
“Crown” was renovated and accessible to all, thanks to the European project “Wonderful caves”, funded by the CBC. In it were created two projects – the socialization of Bulgarian cave “Venetsa” and Serbian “Raikova cave.” The total value of the projects is nearly 100 thousand levs.
Natural phenomenon is rarely beautiful. Underground corridors with length of 200 meters where there are 5 rooms. Inside you can see beautiful stalactites and stalagmites and bizarre images of ice crystals. Entities are colored and researchers explain their formation with a lack of oxygen when the water crystallizes, and the various colors are obtained by the different composition of the clay and rocks.
Cave welcome guests from Bulgaria and the world – has made path is placed lighting, built a shelter, there is a tourist information center. Are shaped walkways above the cave formations. Inside the maze can simultaneously enter 15 people. The entire route is 200 meters long and can be considered for an hour and a half.
This is the second beautiful cave, located near the Belogradchik Rocks, along with “Magura” cave, known worldwide.
